Well, Apolyton time is EDT (US Eastern Time), which is five hours behind GMT. So, 23:00 Apolyton time would be September 6 at 4:00 GMT, which makes it 8:00pm September 5 RegentMan time. But yes, please post them in GMT as well.

So, the chat will be 02:00 hour GMT...

However, when I acess the greenwichmeantime.com, the time right now is 23:53, and not 22:53, if Apolyton really were in GMT-3, as said in the left botton of the page... Poly seems to be at GMT-4 hours...

Ok, some time between 02:00 and 03:00 is my best guess.

I don't know, but I know for sure that Brazil is GMT-3 hours. The chat is appointed to begins at 00:00 hours of september 06, Brazilian time. So, it will be at 03:00 hours, GMT time.

BTW, I believe Poly is in Texas. That would put them in Central time, not Eastern. That could be adding to the confusion.

Set your time to your own time zone, not the default (or whatever it is in your Control Panel). That will tell you.

GMT never changes but most of the local times are shifted one hour in the summer. So, usually New York is -5 GMT but in the summer (from the first Sunday of April until the last Sunday in October) it is -4 GMT. Thus there are two abbreviations for that zone - EST and EDT, respectively East Standard Time and East Daylight saving Time.

To make things more confused the daylight saving time in Europe is changed in the last week of March, i.e. one week earlier than in USA.

There are countries which do not change time, Southern countries (like Australia) change the time when there is summer, i.e. winter for USA and Europe.

This is why I'd like to have GMT time and everyone can adjust that time to his time zone. Because everyone knows (does he?) which zone he lives in and what is the difference but there are few people who could know the time zones of the different countries and servers

Sorry, folks. I had no idea of your schedules...
I’ve choose this time because nye, Master Zen and me were able to make it, and time is pressing.
Anyway, remember: I was just walking around the FAM building, when Master Zen came with all that suit talk about being a diplomat, travel around the world, exotic places, strange fruits, etc. I was trapped!
