I have just bought a new Laptop with an AMD Turion A64 cpu and if i try and run SMAC i get amessage that my CPU is unsupported. It says i may be able to play but expect crashes, however it just quits at this stage.
Any idea's how i can get around this? (the firaxis site doesn't sem to have a support section)

How do I find the alphacentaure.ini file?

the lazy way: start a search on your HD where smax is installed and search for ''Alpha Centauri.Ini''
the slower way: just browse to that file in your smax folder
