Have a safe trip Beta.
OK. What do we do with the state of the world? I am very confused by 1889's last email. It doesn't seem to make any sense. Peace with AM? What happened to us? I thought we were on the cusp of a DR-LB-Babylon alliance.
Now I am sure that things are done for. Let's go out in a blaze of glory. That is what happens when you Golden Age fizzles - right?

I opened the save and there is a peace deal on the table from AM?
What gives?

Well, things are in the balance, from what I see. So, just to let you know, I didn't play the turn, just yet
* E_T got a wild hair up his a$$ for some "fun!!!! Whoot!!!....."
Didn't turn out quite like I would have wanted, but then I wouldn't be posting this now it It had..... But it was still a LOT of fun!! Let's see if we can do the same to AM....
So, I haven't played this as of yet, except for accepting the cash from LB and hitting send for the "unexcepted Peace offer" from AM. I'll post more of that, in the AM thread. Lets see if we can put some pressure on them....
I looked at builds, for the upcoming Reconnection of the Horses, looks like it;s coming along. Horses will be reconnected the next turn and sevaral of them built right afterwards.
Anyways, starting Play now.....

Now, that AM (4/5) WC "Binky" went somewhere. Either to Felinicity or PoA. There are no other AM units visible, so the assumption that they have little left in Theater is confirmed (they put it all into that Army).
So, we have a possibility of getting our Iron connected still, but, from last turn, we know that they still have some slaves around. So, they can build another Colony and ruin our day. So, what to do, what to do......
Looking at move options for Horseman Sherman (and combat capabilities, little at time), he can move the following:
4
1 (onto IRON and the road there)
2 (and Fort)
2-1 (onto a road)
2 and other directions southwards
3 (and fort) - this can cover the 2 workers, but the defencive option isn't that good, with 2/4.
6 (and down road) - leaving workers uncovered.
So, which would be the best option, to keep units away from Iron and workers and PoA?? If moved to 4, and attacked again by "Binky", Binky will be on a Hill and have less movement options. And if that Army moves to take him, than they won't have any moves left, after crossing river.
So, best move, although a sacrifice, would be 4.
Then, Horseman Stonewall moves 4 and sees....
2 of our former workers (now AM slaves) just about to get back to the Iron. They are both between Felinicity and Iron. So, AM will have to attack and kill Stonewall to ReColonize that Iron. Also, if he does survive, he can go after their Colony or threaten an unprotected Felinicity. So, they can't ignore him.
Also, Stonewall sees a fully healed 12/12 Horseman Army, in Felinicity. It's expected to move into PoA next turn. Which is O.K. for the moment. This also means that AM built a Barracks in Felinicity, likely with a Pop Rush.
Now for the begining ot the Seige.....

Seige of PoA (part 1)
As we don't have the forces to take PoA in one turn, we have to take this over several turns. Small steps will hopefully gets us what we need....
Cat Tosses Cats & Dogs Bombards Forted AM Vet Pikeman (4/4) "Corporal Littlebottom".... with no effect.
* E_T wished that we had Engineering, instead of Feudalism, for the Trebuckets (speaking if which, is anyone working on that tech??). Free movement over all of these rivers would also help....
Cat Tosses Cows Bombards same AM Unit and..... Hits, inflicting 1 point of damage to "Corporal Littlebottom". Forted Vet (4/4) AM Pike "Sergeant Colon" now showing.
Now, we have an Elite Bowman in our stack, Shogun Bowman. So, as he has the same Defence as the Spearman, he would be attacked first, if stack was attacked. Granted, we have a chance to get a GL, if attacked, we also will likely lose units. But if that Army gets in range and attacks him, he would likely lose. I would rather keep the Bombard capability, than to have him fight that. And we need to do damage to the Forces that are covering PoA. But we also don't need to weaken our Offencive capability, too soon in this Seige. So, let's attack with Shogun Bowman and be done for this turn.
So. Shogun Bowman (5/5) attacks "Sergeant Colon" and....
KILLS Pkeman. He's down to 3/5, and no GL.... Oh well.
Corporal Littlebottom is now showing, so there are no more Pikemen (forted or Unforted) in PoA.
More to come soon....

O.k., forting all Units in the Seige stack.
New Spearman, from Kurra, moved to IT.
Bowman Kloreep moved into Babylon.
New Spearman, in Potamia, Forted.
New Warrior, In Babylon, moved to IT.
Vet Bowman, in IT (Named "Planetary Bowman") moved to Seige Stack.
New Spearman, in GoT moves 9-8-8, towards Babylon (we can suffer 1 turn of losing 8GPT, if not needed, but to be safer.....). He can move to Potamia or Babylon (or even back to GoT) next turn.
Lux Slider set to 10%.
BWorker 225 moves 1 (to Iron 6).
BWorker 088 moves 8-8-4 (joining BW 225).
2 Warriors (one 4/4 and one 3/3) moved from IT to cover Workers (hedging a bet....).
Worker stack at Kurra 9 moved to Horses, will connect next turn.
IT, Worker/Warrior & Seige stacks are waken all and then Forted all. Won't matter before AM's turn, but might help later.
Other Worker stuff and Cities coming next, but that's it for Military moves.

Question, what the heck is going on with that one LB worker. LB is Industrious and they should have finished that road turns ago and moved to Kurra 6 atleast this last turn (which was why we roaded that one Kurra tile first).
Is there a problem with them?? Are we possibly looking at another backstab?? I can't look at the back saves to see exactly when they started, but the workers are over there to help them get that road done.
Also, if LB was going to be sending any units, we have had a RoP with them for 4 turns now. They atleast don;t need to know where to go to, to send atleast a few units. We can always tell them to go here or there, for instance.
* E_T has a bad feeling about this....
[EDIT] Until I hear a satisfying answer from LB, about these 2 things, I'm not sending ANY money back to them, this turn. Nor do I think that we should send any screenshots. We can tell them Where AM is at, in relation to Kurra (or even their one worker), but I'm not likeing this at all.
Also, we will have Silks ready to trade for Wines, soon, via that same road....

But Beta asked for the extra cash, to be paid back when able, and we need the cash for the horses next turn. Right?
1889 warned us that we might need to rethink the money gifting d/t the new peace with AM.
Lord Nuclear said that he still considers Babylon as allies.
Take them at their word. Keep the Lost Boy money for now.

finishing up....
3 Workers at Potamia WF #3 (BW's 586, 643 & 810), mine (2 turns to complete)
BWorker 217 moves 8-8
Worker (not remaned yet) moves 7-4 (to same spot.
WF & Builds in cities set up to take the most advantage in respect to Horses being reconnected next turn. Silktown was shoirrushed to Worker (for 36 gold) and set back to Catapult.
* E_T had the power go out, last night, right when I was about 5 minutes away from finishing.
I had to replay from the start (after several reboots), but as I only had a few things not reported as being done yet, it was relatively quick getting it finished. But it was after 6AM my time, before it was sent to DR and Admins. Needless to say, I fell fast asleap, once that was done.
Just to note, for now, I didn't send ay money back to LB, this last turn. I'll look at the LB worker thing and post more in appropriate threads.
