You have to say "Opera" before every command. "Opra back", "Opra zoom" instead of just "back" and "zoom" --- it means twice the effort, twice the possibility of saying something wrong (I'm not a native english speaker) and simply - it worked but didn't catch on with me.

As in stuff we've discussed before. You mentioned yes, they're there in extensions, and I said I know, but that's not good enough.
I defined good control, in our previous discussion, as the ability to swap the locations of tabs, the ability to duplicate tabs, drag and drop them into different windows, among other things.
Things which you then claimed were "advanced" and that most users wouldn't need them, which is a perfectly valid line, except for the "advanced" part, at which point I merely underscored the argument that that's what it would take for me to truly switch over to Firefox from Opera.
That and better session saving than what's availible with the SessionSaver extension.

I understand all of these arguments, and I simply said, that's not good enough for me--especially when there are multiple implementations of the tab behavior I'd like to see, which then poses a problem as one has to separate the wheat from the chaff.
If 1.5 delivers on the re-ordering tab behavior, that's definitely a mark in its favor; then again, that's precisely what I've been wanting, which makes this whole argument a moot point.

Honestly, things like RSS readers are frivolities to me, and I'd rather see them as extensions--and yet, they're added in as basic features. Where do you draw the line for what is "standard" and what is not? All I stated was that I disagreed with what the devs decided should be a part of the "standard" featureset, wrt tabs, sessionsaving, and mouse gestures. Because of this slight disagreement, Firefox hasn't and won't replace Opera as my primary browser of choice.
I'm well aware of the extensions, and I do install them. But the simple fact that in Opera, I can install it and have it do all the things I want, right out of the box, so to speak, means that I prefer it to Firefox, where I must go find decent extensions for the three major features I like--especially because the implementations in the extensions may or may not be as capable as the built-in features in Opera.
