I hope that we meet with your approval, compaired to the other "team" you were on....
we have several things going on:
-Trying, unsussesfully, mind you, to get a colition together against BoH.
-Conducting a war against AM, barely, but things are looking up.
-Diplomacy out the yinyang.
-Starting an internal PBEM "Tribes of Babylon" to help keep us busy... still are finalizing things in that, so get into the ground floor while the getting is good.
-Revenge against the AM backstab
did I mention the Revenge part....
Oh, there is also a thread, dealing with a shameless plug for the Apolyton C3CISDG final game, but please don't discuss anything about that game in here, as not all of our memebers are in that team and we also have one person, Conmcb25, who is on a different team in that game

Well, there IS discussion and a community here, and, thus, I am well satisfied.
Plus, I had determined long ago that this seemed to be one of, or the only, pocket of good game behavior in this peculiar situation. I originally joined LB simply because 1889 was the only person to invite me to a team. I think I have greater affinity here.
I prefer playing with style, and you folks have it!
BTW, in the public forum, Beta was wondering how to check team memberships - simply click on the number, for example (12) that follows the team forum name at the top of the public forum. For LB, for instance, it shows that McMeadows and Planet among others are still members of the LB forum.
Can I get a screenie of our presumably small but cultured civilization, or better yet a copy of a recent save?
Finally, is there anything I should do other than hang around and offer my support and opinions?

P.S. First, an apology because I always post long messages. Second, I assume it is OK to participate in the public forum as long as I am not inflammatory and do not give away any information or even hints. Third, I seem to have forgotten how to insert images into posts - any help on that? Oh, and fourth, I'll go read about the Tribes of Babylon. And fifth, you folks have done a superior job of maintaining survival and maybe even beginning to reverse the tide over these last few turns!

I'll strive to avoid the flame wars. However, as the Moonbars incident has shown, all anybody has to do is stand still and look stupid to start one - I was the stupid one, not MB, for clarification.
I think I've gone from 140 to 197 in the last couple of weeks around here.
If we get that PBEM going I ought to bounce right up there.
I just trial joined Appy+. I think I get an avatar out of that.
BTW, why do many of us have little Babylon (or LB, etc.) symbols by their names, but some people, like PtS don't? Why don't we have one for this DG?
You know, I think if I broke up my posts into normal sizes, I might be at about 1000 by now.
