Waiting for BoH to send this to us.

What did that AM Army do?? There was no Battle report, so I'm hoping that it's attempting to flee to the north. But it has hills in the way and can be reached by 2 of the Horsemen that are coming up this turn.

Did AM colonize that Iron Again?? Likely, but we will take care of that very shortly, too.

Now that we have the Horses reconnected, we can get 2 turn Horses from Babylon and IT and 3 turn (currently) from Potamia.

I also have a couple of other cities: Hookah and Kurra; also finishing Horsemen, this turn.

So, ow we have to think about geting that Iron set up.

Hopefully, AM left a slave within reach and we can recapture him and use that, but not likely.

Next settler from GoT will be next turn, IIRC, but it will take him a few turns to travel to the Iron. I might also Rush one from Kurra, but it will be 2 turns from now before that is done and then 2 turns travel.

But for now, we will all see, once we get the save.

I'll post it here, for those who aren't on the mail list.

first Impressions:

Damn, that 3 move Army, it got away. I guess that they didn't lose all of their Movement on those hills....damn!

Not so good news, AM has now connected a road into the former Felinicity, so they can now quickly reinforce....Double damn.

The "slaves" didn't colonize (well, why not, they have that road now......) so they moved off.

Forgot that it was 1 more turn for Horseman from Potamia, so next turn for it.... but we have 4 Horsemen.

Got spare money?

New Reg Horse, in Kurra, Renamed to "Run, run as fast as you can..." moves up road to hills at Iron 9-9-9 (moves 7-7-8-7-8) and sees...

AM Army at 8 from it. Too bad it wasn't stuck on the hills, as I really wanted that for my trophy wall.....

So, as they can reinforce and we know they have MI's, and they want us to "come into their Meat Grinder", we do something else. We Reinforce.....

New Horseman, in IT, Ranamed " youare Complete FOOLS!!" moves and joins "stack" (moves 7-7-7) and Forts.

New Horser, in Babylon, Remaned "Retribution", moves to join "stack" and forts.

New Horse, in Hookah, Remaned "Gonna get some", moves to "stack"

BWorker 036, in Babylon, moves 9-8-8. Can move to Iron or Pot hills next turn. not enough movement to colonize, if does move to Iron.

Vet Spear, from Horses, moves to cover Worker (1-4-4).

3 Workers on Horse, Mine (2 turns to complete).

2 Workers, on Silks at Silkcity (what was the name that Beta wanted to call it?? Beta??) move 4 and Irrigate (2 turns to complete).

Bowman E_T Forts to Heal, let's not leave a single target on Iron hills..... Let them come to us....

BWorker 806 Roads (out of sync with other worker, will be completed 2 more turns).

3 BWorkers, at Pot 3,move 4 (with other 2 on Pot Hills).

Reg Spear, at Pot 9-9, Forts.

* E_T is inviting Defete in Detail, but I think this is only way to be sure,,,,,

Bowman Kloreep, moves from IT to "Stack"

Waking Vet Spearman from stack andmoving 2-1-4. that ji\\gives us 3 units to cover that route, although, it might not be enough... Lets hope they attack main stack.

All Units moved. Only thimg left is WF/builds for cities.

As it's after 3AM my time, I'm leaving this open to finish after I get some sleep. I'll finish this in morning.

I also have some questions about LB. Their Worker was green and no movement, last turn. Why didn't they move to start Roading this next turn??

Also, where oh where is the Promised LB forces?? Have we sent anything in way of screenshots?? Beta, you said you would take care of that, what happened??

LB is now at Peace with AM??? are we gettng any support from them??

* E_T is having a bad feeling about this....

Put an end to popups!

Goody, a save for me to look at when I get home tonight!

Is LN communicating with us at all? If LB changes their orientation away from supporting us, we will be in a tight spot. It is bad enough to fend off AM without the need to send troops the other direction at the same time.

Personally, I would never let AM know how totally POd at them we might be. I would appear meek and subservient and not worthy of their attention until we are ready to inflict some meaningful hurt on them. BOH is clearly not worthy of any honest negotiations. And I have zero read on DR at all.

Did we ever take up LB on the idea of moving a settler behind them to create our Final Bunker?

GB. could you help with some of the Commications between us and LB??

Things we need to know:

What are they researching and when will they get it??

Tell them to move that worker ether 4 or 7 and road. Then, they will have a clear shot into area. Also remind them that once that road is built, we will be able to trade silks for wine.

Will they be sending ay help?? 3 NumMerc's would be nice, maybe with 2 Swords/MI's and 2 to 3 Horsemen Could be used, if anything, to secure the Iron, while we worry about AM Attacks. That is, if they will remain at peace with AM. Remind them that AM has already broken a major deal with us, because they wanted to.

Also tell them that Beta was supposed to get a screenshot to them, a few turns ago. But that still hadn't prevented them from sending units over and removing some of the FoW by themselves.

I'll post this in LB thread soon.

Babylon - Building Horse (turn 1 of 2), WF at 1-7-10-16-18. 15 SPT and grows in 3 turns.

IT - building Horse (turn 1 of 2), WF at 7-8-14-16-18. 15 SPT and grows in 3 turns.

Silktown (I have to dig up that name suggestion of Beta's and put that in next turn's orders to change this) - building Catapult (2 more turns to complete). Starting WF at 2, change WF to 18.

GoT (Grew this turn) - building Settler (turn 3 of 3). Starting WF 1-2-3-6-8-18-19. Changed WF to 1-2-6-8-16-18-19.

Potamia - building Horse (turn 3 of 3). Starting WF 5-7-8-10-19. NC.

Kurra - building Settler (turn 1 of 6??). Might change this, but we need to get PoA rebuilt and Iron secured. Will look at further, next turn. WF at 7-8-18, NC.

Hookah - building Settler (turn 1 of 4). Might also change. WF at 1-7-19, NC.

First I've even heard of that. IMHO, not much better than AM Vassilization and I wouldn't feel too secure. Especially with LB not sending any help.

I'll try to get ahold of LN. Hopefully he will reply this time? Also, hopefully, he is not cheesed at me for fleeing Vampireland in search of the cultural center of the universe.

Now that I look at the save, things don't look so bad. I see that we've decided to go offensive with horsemen instead of bowmen. I wonder if we shouldn't continue to mix the odd spearman into the build.

There is NO way that AM is going to let us get our iron back without a fight. What about moving the upcoming settler right onto the iron? We'll get a defensive bonus and if we march the Stack up to it we can both defend it and use it to attack attempts to drive into our heartland.

Dp we hvae workers anymore? It seems that connection to LB is pretty much imperative. BTW, they have been making hay while the sun shines with their settlements reaching past us to the east.

However, we MUST have that iron and we could sure use the trade.
