Edit: How the bloody hell did I violate copyrights? Am I some how infringing on their trade by clipping five bloody screenshots from gamespot together, Mind you that the screens still even have the gamespot LOGO on them?

That and it was of NO fault of mine that it was smaller than I intended other than lowsy choice of image hosting.

Next time, Try not to bad mouth the quality of somone's work when they're providing a FREE service. I'm sorry for the 15 seconds you wasted on this topic, but prehaps next time you should excercise more wisdom in choosing what you read if you don't want to see somthing of "decent" quality.

Happy? I mean, It should be obvious where the shots are from, It says Gamespot no less than four times in image.

I'm not taking credit for their screen shots, I don't have the game obviously, but I was tired at flipping through the screen shots and so I made a big one for ease of use. Upon doing that I said "Hey, Somone on apolyton might find this useful" so I decided to share it.

Obviously, this might have been a mistake.

I wonder what the question marks are.

About the topic:
The tech tree seems rather small.... (not the image). I've recently played into the middle ages of Rise and Rule and I am very impressed with what they did with the tech tree. It got awesome choices to make and the techs you don't need for area advancements are carefully chosen. So you can either invest in a military branch that will not take you further or hop to the next age and race to the superior techs there, but meanwhile have a weaker military. Additionally you have to discover most of the resources. It's really cool.
Civ4's tree looks rather dull in comparison, but what we can see is that the age thing is gone and its built from the ground up. Before I had played Rise and Rule I thought this'd be a good idea, now I am not too sure.

edit: no, I think I am wrong, there is still an age thing, but it seems that advances can have prerequistes over ages as well. Flight and Divine Right are the two advances that don't require anything, but are in the midst of the tree (graph).

i think civ4 has 84 techs and civ3 83 (or the opposite)...

Hold your horses. Clearly you just fail to see the point. First of all you violated the copyright by editing your own deviated version out of it. But what's more of a newbie mistake is to remake a cluttered version out of it, while there's actually on Poly a decent version already. Reinventing the wheel and then getting mad when you face criticism is not exactly plausible.

Apparently you have think skin for criticism.
