Pirates started on the island same way as other faction. You can get your sea benefits from coastal cities and also if/when you start building sea colony pods.

It is not a very typical pirate-style game I know, but it provides better balance...

Apparantely, Zsozso sent the file to DinoDoc on feb. 1. I mailed him about it now and he has sent it again today. Hope this will make things moving.

I got the turn; however, I can't play it because when I load it the faction graphics are all screwed up. Any idea how I can fix this?

I tried reinstalling. That made it so the faction graphics are still mixed up, but in a different way. Once this turn get's played somebody's probably gonna get an error saying I loaded the turn 4 or 5 times, which is true, but I haven't done anything yet.

In the AXT003 posts, Zsozso mentioned a work around for this problem. It is way way way too much trouble so I will deal with the weird faction graphics I guess.

An alliance is fine for me; however, I feel that probably tech shouldn't be equally shared across the board. After all, the drones with equal tech have a huge advantage. I am all for trading tech on a 1 to 1 basis.

On a side note, at least for this turn the faction graphics are almost totally fixed (go figure). The only weird thing now is that the Drones look like the Cult.

You are right BustaMike, we should trade tech on a 1 to 1 basis. That is also what I meant, but it didn`t come out right...I wouldn`t want to be in a too advantageous position with both techs AND productioon now, would I

About the graphics, the only problem I see is that my faction looks like the Cult. I can live with that though it looks a little funny, all that pink colors
