	New player looking for some PBEM games :) Increase Your PM Length

Hi all Looking for some PBEM games to play. Relatively new to the MP aspect in SMAC/SMAX (had only played 2 ip games with friends before). Wouldn't mind joining the tournament either(though I'll prolly get my hiney kicked)

Little about myself - Played the Civ line of games for a rather lengthy period of time now. Picked up AC about 3/2 years?(forgot exactly how long) ago... some real life stuff kicked in and had to drop the game and recently picked up AC and the expansion again. Had quite a bit of experience in MP for Civ2, and the different aspects of the game in MP really intrigued me.

Please leave me an email or ICQ if there's an opening available in any of the PBEM games thx!

Btw... what do you have to do different for PBEM games? Only played IP before

Hmmm, yep. I'd like some of the same info. I've been boring myself with pasting opponents in SP. I'd also like to know how PBEM works in general. I have a DSL line and check email at least once a day. Have plenty of time on weekends also.

Hi Xarathas and Xerxes ... we usually respond a bit faster than this but it's holiday week so I guess everyone's rushed ...

Take a look here .

There are loads of PBEM games going on currently, at all difficulty levels. The games are set up by our very capable CMN, Tau Ceti, who keeps a record of passwords and deploys the wisdom of Solomon in the event of a disagreement between players

Don't be put off by the fact that it's a tourny. It's pretty casual and a lot of the people playing have never tried PBEM before.

If for any reason you won't find the Tournament interesting (I doubt) I could help you begin a new SMAC or SMACX PBEM game.
