I want to play SMAC or SMAX by Email. How can I get a member in a game?

I have no preferred faction. I like to play at the harder levels (trancendent).

You've come to the right place! Luckily, we have a tournament here, run by our very capable and efficient CMN, Tau Ceti. Just post in this thread and state your e-mail address, and your factional, map and difficutly preferences. You will be put into a game(s) as soon as Tau has a place for you (shouldn't be too long).

If you're worried about it being a tournament - don't worry about it, no-one takes the standings too seriously and you can play as many or as few games as you like. There is also no danger of being knocked out, as it is a league format.
