	PBEM problem Support Apolyton, buy Call to Power 2

I've been running PBEM games (not Apolyton, but over at my SMAC page for a while, but have, for the first time, run into a player who has forgotten their password.

Are there any password extraction utilities available from the SMAC community?

Non that I know of.

The solution we try to use here is to have a third party hold the passwords for the games. That way if someone forgets, the password can be retrieved.

More often, what happens is that someone disappears. The replacement player can then get the password from the third party.

That is only a solution for the future however. Actually, I hope noone ever does find a way to break the password code. Its nice to have a little security in our battles and building.
