First Annual Report on CNB (Chironian Network Bulletin)

The followers of Provost Zsozso has started to explore the rough and fungus-ridden surface of this alien planet. Dean Neumann Cyber-intelligence professor (great- great- great-grandson of John Neumann), who was leading our first Scout Patrol unit, has encountered some rather nasty life-forms. They looked like a harmless nest of entangled worms, but it soon became appearant that they are quite harmful in fact. They can induce halucinations, nightmares, migranes and they caused some severe brain damage to one of our PhD students.

Another scout unit was far luckier and found a pod from the Unity Spaceship with some valuable contents - however, the details of this mission are classified.

University Base has been successfully founded giving the long-waited opportunity to our research stuff to start their quest for knowledge in this new environment.

Red, why don't you try to create/edit the tables in a text editor which can handle very long lines properly ? E.g. I use XEmacs for tables in the tournament admin. Then, you can just copy/paste them into the forum posting form.

This is most interesting to follow. It would be very instructive to be able to study the saves every five years when this is over ( or before if possible).Would the players have any objection to releasing them?

It may not be a simple question of objection or not. I do not mind releasing them eventually, but I did not keep them around... So if Vel or Aredhran have them, then it is fine with me...

On the other hand, so far Vel does not have infiltrator information on me and neither my world map, so I wouldn't want to release them yet.

That is good news. I would suggest you post them on the site afterwords. A lot of people would be interested. Same goes for the other games. This would be a bit like the AOK recorded games posted on Mr. Fixit's site. A great learning tool.

By the way, why don't they play IP, being only two?

Of course you're right, Tau Ceti won DT4. This game was abandoned when Zsozso left the forums and SMAC, with him having an almost decisive advantage over Vel...
