Hi All,
I'm Steve, a.k.a Cade, and recently got involved in the online multiplaying scene with SMAC/X, and this weekend I'd like to host or take part in some live online games. If you've not taken part in an online game before, don't worry, it's really quite easy! :-)
My ICQ is 117479919 (or you can e-mail me: rico@sim-racing.net), and I'll be online saturday and sunday waiting for anyone who wants to join a game with me, although preferably you need a cable connection (e.g. 512k) or more. Players with a 56k modem or less - get yourselves a faster connection or stick with PBEM! :-)
**Time-Zone**
I'm in the UK, currently GMT+1, but if you find me online and can play for several hours then there shouldn't be a problem.
**Game Type**
I'd like to play a full game or two, which may take 5-6 hours or so.... and that also means running in a small sized planet (not tiny, but any bigger than small and we are gonna take way more than 5 hours....)
This is open to discussion by those who want to join, of course, along with most of the other settings. If you want to be a particular faction, you better e-mail me quick. :-)
Depending on the amount of people who get in touch with me, we could have upto the full 7 slots filled with human players - although it's more likely we'll have 5 human players since 7 can slow the game down a little.
