Thanks for joining, everybody! I apologize for the long time some of you have had to wait (up to two weeks! Ouch. ); I have been (and am still, to a certain extent) very busy with RL work. I will get new games out as soon as I can; in the meantime, thank you for your patience.

Pat, I will contact you when I have a game ready for you. IIRC, the Planetary Pack contains the latest versions of both SMAC and X, so I do not think you need to download anything.

There have not been many games started lately, partly because I have been very busy in RL and partly because of Easter. But the service rate has been too poor , and rereading the thread, I discovered that some people had indeed been lost in the shuffle. I have sent mails to the players involved to apologize and hear if they are still interested, and am working to clear out the backlog of waiting games and players. New games should be coming out in the not very distant future.

Hi! I'm completely new to the PBEM format, so maybe take this into consideration. If there are any SMAC-PBEM FAQ's I'd appreciate it if someone could point me to them. Whatever the case, I'd like:

One (1) SMAC game
Any civ, if University, free tech= Cent. Eco.
prefer Librarian right now, but if everyone else is playing higher, that's ok with me. (Still relatively new to SMAC--maybe no one plays PBEM at Librarian?).

Well, ACT046 and ACT048 both seem to be dead, at 2111 and 2105, respectively. No moves since April 30 and May 8, respecitvely.
Can we use some of these fresh players to replace the deadwood in these games?

Hi I'm a PBEM newbie and I'd like to join a SMAC game if possible. I mostly play the Gaians but I'm willing to play another faction if it's not available. I'm used to playing on Transcend in SP so I'd like to stick to that in MP if possible, huge maps with low amounts of water and abundant life is preferred
