The Hive requests the support of all factions in the quest to unite Planet. While there has been some acrimony, it is time to set aside our differences and unify for the good of all the people. " Citizens of Planet, it is my hope that you can find it in your hearts to support this initiative. While celebrations are premature, our calculations indicate that we should be at or near the 75% threshold needed to achieve unity. I ask any factions with doubt to consider their options carefully. To oppose this initiative will mean years of strife in an attempt , almost certainly futile, to overcome two powerful and well armed factions. Is it really a good use of time and resources to battle on in what will certainly be a hopeless cause? The Hive has a large, well disciplined air force and a formidable number of drop troops available to enforce any new world order.

All factions will be well treated and if you wish you can certainly turn attention to other worlds to be settled. Let factions battle for supremacy on other worlds for the battle on this world should be done.

Game over.

Despite the dissenting factions, the final vote was 125:40, just enough to get through. I- recognizing the futility of any other course of action, decided not to oppose the final outcome. Next time, remind me not to take over the pirates in a game where there's no water!

Nevertheless, well played all, kudos to the victors. See you on Planet sometime soon.

Hobbes, we certainly appreciate your taking over a faction when it was in such a bad situation. The map was a really tough one for the Pirates.
