	Setting up an Aussie/European game: SUNDAYS Increase Your PM Length

OK, Smartfart, carnide, kengel and any other Europeans who want to play Aussies, how about a Sunday game? That's Sunday morning in Europe and afternoon/evening in Aussie.

I got me and Hydey so far and would love to set it up on my big 100 map scenario ( www.ozemail.com.au/~iadkins/real.zip ) but a random one is ok too.

Any takers? Other Aussies too?

I would prefere turn based game,but I am open to negotiate. I'll play any settings/rules,except I insist on x1 movement.

Sunday is today? Good. What time you guys propose? I have plenty of time today and could go with just about any.

That's about 10/11 hours ahead of Europe - your mid morning.

Smartfart, have you d/l my real mod?
Tell me what you think. Open the REALfullmap_b4000.scn to see the whole map.
I'd prefer turn-based too but will go with the flow. We always play 1x1x Deity/Hordes etc.

Maybe start next Sunday to give us time to set up a good game, either with or without my real mod.

Any more Aussie or Euro takers?

(Or anyone really, but the focus is to play Euros cos we never seem to get them!)

Unfortunately, I am actually approaching the end of my study, so real life forces me to pause with civ for the next few months
However, in summertime I hope to be back to try out if Aussies ability of playing civ is as good as their sense for humor

Time? Sunday is near.

I d/l your map and I have no prob with that,but new unit/terrain graphic could be annoying. No offense...I appreciate hard work of the artist,but settlers looks quite strange and i hate to open civilopedia to learn exactly what things are after me at the moment.

Is there any way to play that map w/ normal graphic? If not,I vote for random map.

I agree with every additional rule/agreement you guys come up with.

Smartfart, with the real modpak you just take the terrain files out of the real folder and civ should default to your normal graphics.

I'd like to go for early Sunday evening for us Aussies, say 6PM (GMT +11) but I guess that's too early so state your earliest times troops.

We need more players so anyone else?

No, 7AM GMT. You would be an hour or so later?

So, if we make it 7PM Aussie (8AM GMT) or another hour later?
I don't want to go too late. Plus, some players will have other comitments by 9 or 10PM Aussie time.

Also, No to Markus. See the 'real' thread. Hopefully the other game will be on. This game is at a diferent time.

Deity - don't forget we lose daylight saving tonight (Saturday). So, tomorrow, we will revert to 10 hours ahead of the Brits, and 9 hours ahead of Europe. As soon as Britain and Europe pick up daylight saving, which will be very soon, we will be 9 hours ahead of the Brits and 8 hours ahead of Europe. Just something to bear in mind.
