Whats going on? I've received various emails about Production rates being altered. How is this possible? And what do we do now?
Also, please use my new email address:-

I've passed the game on to Skyrke and I've also switched it back to double production.

Hi all!
It's time for a new PBEM mail again, I think, there are several points I would like to tell you.
1. There has been a little confusion about the production change, so I hope to bring some clarify into it: Monkey accidentally changed the production rate to normal production and sent the file to skryke. Meantime he seems have corrected it, so it is double production again.
The changing of production or moving rate is possible for everyone, since he is the host as soon as he starts the internet game (look at the multiplayer options of the game menu). A change of the production rate will first take effect in the turn of the next player, while the change of the moving rate will take instantly effect. So it is theoretically possible, that a player can do double moves and then changing back the moving rates to single move. But I really trust you guys, that nobody will take advantage from this "feature", since it would be simply cheating (like these lots of more possibilities to cheat in this email game).
2. I started a new thread in the Apolytonforum labeled "seven player game", and I am still searching for any more fast moving players for an organized internet online game. If you are interested, please contact me, thanx!
3. Please don't forget to press ctrl n at end of turn (sorry, for boring you again)
4. I noticed, that some days the game get sticked somewhere. What's the reason? Has anybody problems with the moving times? If so, please inform me. Just for case I will give you again the posting times everyone should try to manage (=the latest time, when you should have finished your move and post it to the next). This time I will give it in EDT=EST+1, the "summertime" of EST; that is the time which the Apolyton Forum uses (on this way you easyly can check which time difference to EDT you have). For the europeans I will give GMT = EDT +4
Skryke: 22.00 EDT = 02.00 GMT
MacUser: 01.00 EDT = 05.00 GMT
Zeebo: 05.00 EDT = 09.00 GMT
Makeo: 09.00 EDT = 13.00 GMT
Kengel: 13.00 EDT = 17.00 GMT
Superstar: 17.00 EDT = 21.00 GMT
Monkey: 19.00 EDT = 23.00 GMT
Well, thanx for your patience. I hope, the game will go on now for 1 turn/day. Lets have fun!

Who has the game? I'm subbing for Kengel for the weekend, so if the game has been sent there then please redirect to me.
As for the production mix up, I think it's time to leave it in the past now gentlemen, and progress onward, ever onward.

hehehe... I have another suggestion: How about paining yourself with a whip tonight in your chamber for atoning?
Well, seriously: MacUser, dont't worry about this, it could happen to everyone, and I will stand on your side when some hordes of civplayer wanting to lynch you .
Anyway, I am really glad that the game is running again.
Monkey: I feel sorry about my last post , I really didn't want to put some blame to you; if it sounds a little bit so, this was just written in a bad syntax, so it could be misunderstood, sorry for that. I am sure you are a honorful player, as everyone in this game.

I havent seen the game either for a while. Getting kinda upset here... both the CTP PBEM games I set up have also slowed down to a crawl. I guess having eight players is close to being impossible no?

How about having 1 or more subs available? I would love to see how this type of game (PBEM) works, since it seems to be the perfect kind of game to work into my real life schedule.
I would be happy to sub for any absent player(s) if it will help.
