Well, I`ve just read in the thread 'changing Hagibborim AI' , that those monsters shouldn`t take the cities . But I`ve just finished the SciFi game , and I`ve lost two of my cities to them, and they started to build more and more of those crystal-like guys. It`s good , that I had Fulminie Rings and that thing , that was originally a Great Wall (defense X 2 against Barbarians).
So why did they capture my cities?

They won't take a city normally but there are circumstances which will cause them to take a city accidentaly. If your city is empty and the next unit which catches the Baddies eye causes that unit to attempt to move through the city then the city is captured. Often you can then lure the Baddie out by placing units outside the city as decoys and then they should go on their merry way.

Thought I'd bring this back up. In my current Sci-Fi game, every time they attack any of my cities on any planet, they capture it. After they capture it, they leave within the next few turns, usually after they have created a new unit. Then if I recapture the city, they come right back and do it again.

Yeah, what's up with that? I like the Sci-Fi game, but it gets really easy b/c the AI doesn't try much to expand to the other worlds.

really, I remember the AI exploding across the third world, I forget its name. The brown dustball like planet. Quite an irritant to have to weed out those cities. Though, it could do a much better job of course.

Hey Rostislav,
Here is an easy way to avoid dealing with the Hagibborim. The Dondasch units only pop up in about two to three differeent spots on Nona. If you place one of your units on top of each of these spots they can't reappear. The same goes for the Hagibborim's Adamastor units. However, they appear in about ten spots. Some of those spots are on Methane cloud spots so the only way to hit all of their spawning points is to have a flying unit like a Hohmann hover over them. The one downside to this is your flying units cannot be fortified you will need to "skip turn" these units every turn. However if you make all of these unit the same and have no other units of that type on Nona it will be fairly easy to simply hit the space bar every time one of those units are queued on Nona.
Sincerely,
Candy
