Well the patch installs OK for me (into my 'E' drive partition).
I've just started a new game (extended original) and I haven't noticed any changes yet, but it's obviously too early to tell - and anyway I've never had any problems with the Ultrastring bug.
In the read me file it says this:
"We've fixed a bunch of things. Please note that your existing save files still work, but the fixes will not be applied to saved games. New save files will reflect the changes we've made.
Also, you must install this patch last. That means that if you have installed the official Time Threat Paradox scenario since installing this patch, you must re-install the patch to get the changes to function."
WHAT IS THIS TIME THREAT PARADOX SCENARIO?

Hey, whatever happened to this. There has been no news about Apolyton getting Mike Uhl's awesome sounding scenario for about two and a half weeks. I am sure everyone else is as eager to get this as I am.

I just tried to download it from the official site and kept getting "server returns extended information." There must be a lot of Civvers out there trying to download it!
I want to see if the time travelling unit looks like a blue police box....
