In ToT, my units occasionally get orders (that I believe I did not give them!) to GO TO somewhere, and off they go. If I'm lucky, I click on them at the end of some turn and stop them, but sometimes they move quite a bit before I realize they are mine and they are running away.
I know I can accidentally give a GOTO command by holding the mouse cursor down too long, but that does not seem to explain all my headstrong unit experiences. What else might make a unit think I told it to go somewhere?
By the way I am playing with the option to "move units with the mouse" turned OFF. I wish I could turn GOTO off as well.
