I played a game once with a friend. We started on a small continent, double move on. We expanded into each other. He got elephants, took over two of my cites, I built a lot of units in my last one, got city walls in it, and then we both knew it was pretty much over. Maybe it was the game itself but hotseat didn't seem too great.
