	Active MP players Tired of ads?

I know there is an ICQ list of players, but many of the people on that list no longer play. I was just wondering who the hard core players still are.
It seems to be getting harder and harder to put a game together.

Who still plays regularly?

twice a week (almost)every week for the last 7 months......though I'm not one for pickup games......all games that I play have been organized on these forums.

I've only been playing mp for those same 7 months Ming.....so I don't know about the mp history around here....is the renaissance over?

Will civ III revive mp activity? I'm guessing it will bring in a new crop of players if nothing else.....it better be good!

I play. DIplogames mostly, some for the hell of it games with 2 or 3 people when we are all online and bored. Drop me a line sometimes if you want a game.

I don't think you've looked too hard spod...there are lots of aussies that play mp games around here...........I played with two last week alone! (deity and hydey)

Another hardcore civer here. I've gotten a little "civ burned" lately, but still play a lot.

Still waiting to get into a game with Ming the Merciless and get my share of butt-kicking!

BTW, there's always a phone symbol next to your name in the ICQ list when you're on-line. What's that all about, still trying to get the ICQ phone to work?

I stay active in GameLeague Tribe play, but I'm not very active in regular MP games very much anymore. First, it is difficult to find players who will stick to a long game at a regular time. Second, more and more players want to play with altered rules (adding units, changing movements, etc) and I don't find that very interesting. Third, I don't have much free time, and I miss my time spent on other interests (gardening, fishing, wood-working).

I never wanted to play a lot of different Civ games, just have one good standard one going along at a regular time.

On a per head of population basis, we more than dominate this territory, we own this territory. What's more, we're contemplating a levy for non-Australians posting in our territory.

Hydey here , I Mp all the time and I'm another of the many Aussies

I play with finbar and Alexanders Horse a few nights a week and Deity when he can fit us in. We use to play with Makeo but he got so scared of our powers he left the country to escape Lowang plays but he is in a trailer park and has trouble getting online now.

See there are lots of Aussies to play civ with
