	Smaller Trade bonus in ToT than in Civ II ? Put an end to popups!

Is it me, or are the trade bonusses when establishing a trade route smaller in ToT than in Civ II?
I must admit that I play on smaller maps in ToT than in Civ II. But still, I don't seem to make even half the amount of money and science bonus as I was used to in Civ II.
What are everybody else's observations?

	Got spare money?

I, too, have noticed much smaller bonuses. In my first game i was plagued with bonuses of less than 50 gold. In my current game (I am playing as the aliens, so i'm trading within my civ), I haven't gotten a pay larger than 12 gold!

Actually in one game, i was using a city with 50 trade, trading with other very large AI cities that demanded the commodity, and I was still only getting 250-300 gold, when normally in civ2 i get 500-750 gold on the lower end of deals in the same situation.
