I also had the original civ2 before I bought ToT.. I personally like it, you can make new challenges with the multimaps, and with the extended game where you can land on alpha centauri after playing your whole game on earth (its the original game extended, hence Original Extended game). I think ity's fun... and do you go by film critics reviews when you go out to the movies? I never do. I look for the ones they say are bad, because they turn out to be some of the best movies i've seen yet
