Last I heard, Ming will be out of town this weekend. So gaming will occur elsewhere.

When you said you had a dinner on Friday, fearing that there would be no one to play, I agreed to play with the boys in Ming's stead.

Now that you're avail Fri., I'll see if I can get out of it, but no promises. I'll post here later tomorrow.

Since he has a real young daughter at home, he had no problem with me keeping my germs at home.

They did have enough guys that my lack of participation would not cause problems, so I have no guilt.

For us computer-challenged types, could someone please detail what we need to make this work? I can buy equipment, I can D/L software. I just can't tell what all is required. Some recommended items would help, too, so that I don't buy junk.

Originally i bought a headset for 30 bucks, but it sucked.
went out and bought a cheap headset for 9 bucks and it workded fine.
if you have a mic and speackers and icq v2000b, you're ready to go.

er... slight miscalculation of beers which led to a dominoes effect.....

Me under influences and a collapsed lever on my computer table caused my cd tower to tumble three feet onto hard concrete needless to say my hard drive was screwed...... needless to say i put a new tower on the floor where it can no longer hurt itself.

I have carpet but its concrete under that...... i broke a mirror shaped as a Roman Tablet with the names of conquered cities etched in it as well

Twas not a good night........ next game i will cap the amount of beer i drink to under 15

Yes, we discussed and dismissed that possiblity in about 3 seconds. And as always, we all actually do get concerned when someone disappears like that. Even stranger since we were on ICQ phone and all of a sudden you were just gone and then we got the message that the game had lost connection. We did get a sub for you so we could play a little longer.

Sorry to hear about the hardware problems. Hope it wasn't expensive.

Yes, a limit on the beers is probably a good idea. HAHAHAHAHHA

LOL. If their leader is constantly, shall we say, impaired, the horde will probably rise up and have a coup d'etat. Boann was a fine sub, though. I think she took 5 or 6 cities off of Berz. Boy was he complaining.

Tried it with Deity and it would not connect at all.

Tried it with RAH and he could he me but I could not here him just like with Ming.

, Yes when Ming told me he was testing it with you, I laughed so hard, I almost fell out of my chair.

On the positive side though, Since you both have the same problem, there is a chance that someone else can replicate it and maybe figure out what is going wrong. Maybe it's time to check out the ICQ web site and see if anyone else is experiencing this.

Outgoing wasn't the problem... Rah and war4ever could hear me fine... I just couldn't hear anything in return

I'm switching over ISP's this week, so if there is a problem on that end, I will find out quick
