	Mac Modifications Support Apolyton, buy Civilization: The Boardgame

I keep reading in the forums about the modifications such as Nordicus's trade goods, but they seem to be for pc's. Can these be used on the Mac?

Yes, but they need some conversion first. Go to the ACS Mac page and browse through the customization section. There you will find instructions (especially the Amandeep Jawa article) on how to convert PC modpacks and scenarios to Mac. Go give it a try. It really isn't all that hard.

Actually I just finished converting "HiRes" to MACable and it wasn't very hard once I had the right tools.

.gif to .pict and .wav to.aiff are easy.I use SoundApp for sounds and clip2gif for units,icons etc.

rules.txt are fine the way they are.Just drop em in the support folder.(back up old copy first)

events.txt....hmmmm....beyond my current capability.

AHHH! And here is where the Convert Scenario script by Chris (Wulf) Beijner comes in to play! The Convert Scenario AppleScript will fix up the text files and you should be off and running! Just go to the Customization page and read down until you find the reference to the script.

I guess I should add an index and some anchors to that page to make the script and other utilities easier to find.
