Grumpy?
Sure you need the delevent.exe?
My understanding is that it addresses a bug in Fantastic World for PC, but I am not sure that bug exists in the Mac Gold version.
Playtest and find out.

Macuser.
An .exe file with a scenario usually means some modification of files, like switching files half-way through a game and asking the player to quit and reopen the saved game - thus using the new rules.txt or whatever. Asking the creator is a good bet.

I also have redfront and what you are thinking of are the .bat files in the scenario. You would have to read the readme.doc using BBEdit (that's what I did.) Also I found out the Delete Event file is not an .exe it IS a .bat program in .exe format. Sort of like the .sit or .hqx like in Stuffit Expander. I have tried to access the Second Reich Page on Mike Jeszenka's website the author of the scenario, but I found out that the whole website is gone. It said Not Found on the screen. So again I'm at a deadend. I have used wulf's link and read up on it. basicly I've had to make several Scenarios from one Secnario. (examples like Redfront and Second Reich to load what the .bat file or files is suoppsed to do in the origonal scenario.) Also the winter terrain that you were talking about is suoppsed to be loaded by the first .bat file which replaces the rules, terain, cities, and units from the RF.Sav game, but THIS IS the PC version of doing it. What you have to do is make another scenario and drag and rename all of the stuff that needs to be renamed. Then it should work. If you are still confused like me when I first did it check wulf's link.
