The more I think about this game the more I think Firaxis should dump the whole boring "strategy" idea and go with something more exciting. This game should be recast as a FPS---First Person Stomper. You would be the dinosaur, see what he sees, eat what he eats, kill what he kills.
Think how exciting it would be to stalk through the jungle as a 30 foot tall tyranasaurus hunting and killing your prey for food. Or you could choose the other side of the coin, a harmless plant eater, stalked by dangerous killers as you try to find the most delicious forage.
Eventually you could find other dinosaurs and breed with them to gain evolutionary power ups. This would add a whole new dimension to multiplayer.
