The play by email games that are currently going on all use the Dutcheese mod. Download it and install it. A while back I made a post that give detailed instructions on how to do this. There is an open slot in the PBeM #3 game. If you're interested in taking it, we can detach the AI and you can take over.

The Dutcheese mod speeds up the early game by giving you lots of initial settlers, gold, and public works. Enough to get a decent sized empire going.

I'll need to detach an AI so you can play. Currently all of the games are stalled right now. I suspect someone is on vacation. I'll try an find out what's going on and get you added to the loop.
