Book says MP limit is 4 players Put an end to popups!

OK, I'm one of those weirdos that reads the manual before he starts playing.

In the manual it said that the maximum number of multiplayers was 4. Is this true? Anyone try it yet?

Support Apolyton buy from Amazon

In CTP1 you could only launch a new game with 4 players, the other 1-4 players had to jump into AI positions. This made Prince level the only real fair level to play mp with more than 4 players.

Wrong.!!!..I launched many games..with 6 players..VERY SLOW!!..because everyone doing build queres on turn instead of off turn..but yes you can launch with more than 4 humans in a games...General MacArthur or Swissy was a bit IN-Correct!

This was in CTP:1

Though you can have up to 8 human players in a multiplayer game, 4 players is the maximum that Activision will support.
