I thought that after you learned classical education, you could build abolishonists? I can't seem to find them under units even though I've learned the correct knowledge for them...the slavers are really annoying me and I can't do anything about it..

1) search the GL for "slaves" or something similar
2) build walls to protect your cities from slavers

Do you have slaves or Slavers yourself? You won't see the Abolitionist if that's the case.

Off the topic. I don't use slaves for startegy reasons. I research the emansupation act as soon as I can. Then watch the other civs ratings plumit for a few rounds ;-)
