AI intelligence CTP vs CTPII Support Apolyton buy from Amazon

Would you CTPII players say that AI was 'smarter' in CTP with Med mod, comparing it with present CTPII?

i've played CTP with the med mod upto the last incarnation of 4.1. the AI in that is hands down MUCH MUCH better than the AI in CTP2 (unmodified). at present and without any modification, the AI is pretty useless. hopefully, once Wes and company are able to modify the AI, it'll be more intelligent and challenging.
