after i played some mp games, i know i make something wrong at the beginning of the game. in the first turns of game iam equal like the other players, but after that my civ is falling back (statistic). so why??? can someone tell me what to do first to keep up a chance to other players? please...

hi there. what setting are you at? what do you do?
First I always build 2 warriors then a granary and then a hopolit if I get the tech.
I send my first warrior to explore and my second warrior to explore in the other direction. after my granary is built i use my hopolite for defence.
It failed me once since a babarian captured my city and i wasnt prepared. always keep and eye out for babrains.
