	Unusual Error Support Apolyton, buy Civilization 2

Anytime I build my first settler, the game gives me this error:

Paths Error

GUO2.SCR not found in asset tree

Then quits the game. This happens with any civ (tested 10) at any level, on any size map. I have reinstalled the game and restarted my comp.

Any suggestions?

I don't know if this will help, but did you make sure you manually deleted all CTP2 files first, before re-installing?
(make sure you get rid of any CTP2 directories on other drives).

Also.. and this is just a hunch... do you have your screen saver active? I thought that .SCR files were for the screen savers. Maybe that has something to do with it.
