Bad Crash after hours playing multiplayer!!!

Support Apolyton, buy Galactic Civilizations: Deluxe Edition

I have played with my friend many hours of multiplayer and tryed to play it in LAN and Internet, and at the beginning of the modern age my friend attacked a enemy unit and after the fight the host crashed to the desktop. We tried to be both pc's the host but it crashed both times.

Now i wanted to know if anyone know why cctp2 crasches this way.
Does anyone know what does the answer for the problem is.

Please Help me?

It has happened too many times to me..so I QUIT playing MP version of Crash To Power 2...(I mean Call To Power 2)

I played thousands of hours with CTP:1 and had same occurences..like opening up a hut and crashing..or attacking an AI..then it would do it to me..VERY FRUSTRATING!!

One suggestion is..

Did either of you alter any files?

That will cause a crash under certain circumstances

Yes, my friend has the CD-Crack in, because we are playing on LAN so we need the CD-Crack because we only have one Original CD of CTP2.

But i still can't understand why it crashes, because we had many fights before and now suddenly it crashes, why?
