Important nore regarding to a new patch! Support Apolyton, pre-order Civilization IV

I saw all the messages in the board so I decided e-mailing the Activision group about looking in this forum in order to collect ideas for a new patch.
Here is their reply:
Unfortunately, the problem with message boards is that often people who
post there do not call or write in. Most problems there (and this is
true of any game and any board) can be fixed if people will contact us.
Unfortunately, while we do have people monitoring all different
websites, with hundreds of different games currently being supported,
having just one person research every thread for one game is not
practical.

Realize also that many of the posts there are suggestions, not bugs.
While we appreciate customer input into what they want from our games
and use boards like Apolyton to gauge that input, realize that it is
impractical to add features to games once they have shipped. Often such
suggestions would basically require writing the game anew, and incurring
all the expense of writing a whole new program. While we want to make
the game as enjoyable as possible there is a limit to what can be done
through a patch process.

As far as the feasibility of the patch, this is a decision not made by
customer service, so I cannot directly address it. However, our
experience is that most of the problems people contact us with can be
fixed without a patch. The truth is the number of calls and emails we
receive do not represent that there is a "large number of bugs." If
this is not the case it is because we are not hearing form people
experiencing problems.

We would be very interested in helping you with any problem you have,
but you will have to be specific as to what exactly is occurring. We do
take all feedback into consideration, however at this time there is no
news of future patches to report.

Sincerely,

Dan Carreker

Customer Support Representative

So everybody, please start e-mailing Activision with bug reports and suggestions!

P.S.
I already posted this message in the Suggestions forum but I thought it was important enugh for me to also put it here...

AFAIK, Activision has made it quite clear that they will not be releasing any further patches for CtP2, and that basically, as far as game improvements are concerned it's up to the user community to make those improvements through modpacks. True, they will still do customer support, but as far as a patch is concerned they can't be bothered as they are too busy counting your money.
