Prime Function Qualicide has broken the truce between our two factions. Once again we are at Vendetta.

Governor Flomper has yet to respond to our com-link transmissions for truce.

It is very obvious that the Hive position isn't taken very seriously. That will have to be remedied.

Excuse me? What act of war? No military units have entered Conciousness territory.

Your 'warning' was well heeded. The Hive rover patrols along our mutual border were placed in response to the Pirate Probe Team threat that was allowed access through your territory into Hive controlled land. I repeat they have not entered Cyborg territory...yet. As long as these blatant incursions continue the Hive will continue to amass troops in the region and guard our borders vigilantly.

A Probe Team was in your territory, but it’s objective was not 'borg.

Flomper: I just noticed your messages in the comlink/negotiating text box (I forget what its called). Sorry for not responding—I didn't know they were there until I manually clicked on your comlink frequency.
I thought that multiplayer transmissions would pop up at the beginning of your turn, if there was an incoming message from another player. Obviously they haven't been and here I've been typeing short messages for last while thinking that they would be automatically recieved on that players start of their turn. Has anyone else noticed this?

KJ, that does explain some things. IMO the diplomacy feature is the one most needing an overhaul. For example you cannot do with other players what you can with computer players (e.g. turn over a city).

**incoming transmission from Hive Command**
The Hive wishes to announce to the Planetary Council the seizure of the Consciouness base Sigma Complex by Hive Rover squads early this evening.

The founding of the Cyborg base along our troubled border had not only illegally re-established that border between our peoples—and thus was a violation of the truce so recently won—it raised tensions considerably in the region once again. Hive intelligence reports indicate that the base was to be used as a military installation, and a forward staging area in the event of a Cyborg offensive against our peoples.

The founding of Sigma Complex was interpreted as a hostile act and a precursor to invasion.

Thus at 17:35 Hive military forces acted swifty and accordingly, and captured the settlement. Casualties were minimal.

As stated in a previous official transmission;

the Hive collective will stand firm against all aggression—military or otherwise.

BTW, in case you guys don't know. Sometimes you load a game and it immediately says "turn complete" or whatever, even though you are sure you should've been able to move *something*. Quit without saving and reload the game. It will say a warning is gonna be sent to everyone, but do it anyways, because you will find out that you actually DO have units to move. This has happened to me more than once.
