Pacifica elections end with George Darron as president
LOS ANGELES - In Los Angeles, with the final votes in, George Darron, winning majority of electoral votes and of popular vote, has been inaugurated as the next president to come to the Pacific Republic. His main opponent, Jackson Larney, almost hit the gold in the elections, but was short of several electoral votes and few popular votes. George Darron has been a promising politician in his history. He was noted as the most intelligent and the overall best senator to ever exist in Texas. After this, he became governor of Texas in a very, very close election, which was sadly rigged by the democrats. George Darron is republican, and his views are to improve the military, and make it generally larger, sending peace keeping forces (more of them) around the world, etc. His views on abortion are abstained, and his views on gun control are that licenses should be required. George Darron also served as a Pacifica general from 1970-1980. His relatives were officers in the Pacifca-Mexican War fought in the 1800s with Mexico, which ended in Pacifican victory as the Mexicans ceceded Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona to the Pacific Republic. George Darron is 56 years old, but is a very healthy and principled man. He has been noted for his kindness and his intelligence, and he has a past of being very strict, but still fair. Darron was cheered to as he came out of his private jet in the Los Angeles airport.

President Darron to attend peace summits in Cairo, Egypt
LOS ANGELES – President Darron, fresh in office, has declared that he will attend the peace summits that are going to occur in Cairo, Egypt, to resolve the conflict between the Israelis and the Palestinians. “I believe that the Holy Land should not be fought over. It is ridiculous to see this fighting going on,” stated President Darron. Darron will attend the summit with Palestine, Israeli, and Egyptian representatives and government officials, and he will suggest that possible joint Pacifica and United States peace keeping forces be sent to the area, only numbering about two-hundred troops or something, to stop a larger conflict from emerging. President Darron will speak with the United States government to see if they will too be attending the summit and will see if their opinion on peace-keeping issues is the same as Pacifican opinions. So far, the conflict is small, but begins to grow as both Israeli and Palestine citizens die, and as government buildings are bombed by both sides. It is beginning to get horrible in that general area of the Middle East, and President Darron with the rest of Pacifica believe that a resolution can be held between the Israelis and the Palestinians. To be prepared, President Darron is readying some troops to possibly be sent to perform peace-keeping missions in the area, until a compromise can be met. The United States failed in achieving one earlier, but Darron and his officials believe that if Pacifica were to work with the United States, we could achieve a compromise between the two peoples.

President Darron condemns Nigerian agression in west Africa
LOS ANGELES - President Darron attended a meeting of African prosperity last Thursday when the issue of the new Greater Nigeria was brought up. President Darron, fearing Greater Nigeria and the possibility that its propaganda machine continues to spread, and possibly spread into Europe, has decided to condemn Nigerian agression. An ultimatum has been given to Nigeria. If they do not free the nations they have deliberately attacked and captured, Pacifica will send force to make them give them up, and we will liberate the peoples of west Africa. The General Jekopnol, who has been known to spread lies and propaganda, has been branded a war criminal by the Pacifican government. Right now, unknown divisions are preparing with carriers to cross the Panama Canal (jointly owned by Pacifica and the United States of America) to fight the Nigerians. General Patrick of the Pacifican Armed Forces will be preparing the troops and assigning tactical movements. Already, movement has been seen towards the Panama Canal, and troops from Texas have prepared themselves to go into the gulf.
