Who plays Turkey on the other Dip team? Well, I play Turkey...and it's getting confusing...any advice?

I'm Turkey on Apolyton I... we have the luxury of an opening move without offending anyone too seriously - unless you move to Armenia. Talk alot to Russia and Austria - decide which one you will ally with before the first turn but leave open the option of switching after you see the opening moves - in other words, dont piss anyone off too much on the first turn.

Get ready for Italy and some form of the Lepanto. Try to ally with Russia and maintain that alliance long enough for any western alliance to beat back the Russians in the north while you work to stab Russia and re-ally with a western power after Russia is reduced.
Talk alot - even if you have nothing much to say - talk alot to as many players as you can. One day you will be seeking an alliance with someone in the west.

We need Greece so try to get someone, Italy, to stab Austria on the first turn. But dont be too obvious or pushy. Dropping a hint that you and Russia are going to stab Austria might help convince Italy to stab Austria.
If Italy does stab Austria, and you are convinced it is not the Lepanto, do what ever you can to convince Austria to let you have Greece unopposed in exchange for your help. Serbia is yours next turn

Unless you have a very good reason not to, order the standard Con-Bel, Smy-Col, Ank-Bla (stand-off with Russia). Hmmm maybe try to get Austria to keep his fleet up north because you heard that the Italians were going to stab him, so that you can grab Greece in the fall
