Well. After neogitations with Germany, I've become a vassal state. Germany'll keep me alive as long as I can contribute to his cost, and then if he can solo, he will do so by attacking me. When that becomes clear, then all's game, but not before that. Well, how does that sound?

Better than losing. I was about to propose becoming Germany's vassal state in my game, but England's head on a platter will be enough for him. Then I can deal with Italy while he and Austria struggle for first place. Austria will lose, and germany and I will be 1 and 2, or so the plan goes in my game. I pray that I see the future well.

Becoming a vassal state is better than elimination. Particularly with German, who may look to concentrate on land again using you as his navy. There's also the possibility that he can knock out a couple players and that you could get a 4th place finish (or higher) which carries bonus points in addition to SC count. That of course assumes that he doesn't solo.

And there's always the chance that he get's clumsy and leaves you a way back into the game, but that's unlikely.

The first round lasts until 1909. Jus try to hang on and see if by serving Germany, you can achieve one of the top 4 spots. That would go miles towards helping us.
