Well, since I'm the biggest advocate of it, I should explain. The Peninsular War is what English speaking countries call the war fought on Spanish and portugese soil between France, and Britain/Spain/Portugal, from 1807-1814. This war was of critical importance, even Napoleon himself addmitted that the "Spanish Ulser", as he called the war, was the major reason for his downfall. Although Spanish Royal armies fought poorly in this war(with some notable exceptions), it was the people, who took to the hills and mountains. fought in the streets, and killed frenchmen everywhere, that caused the French the most problems. And sadly, there is no scenario for this war.

So true Prom, so true.

Let's go with the other Q of my little trivia. The Pride and the Passion is the title of a Hollywood movie about the Peninsular war. The movie featured (look at those names): Frank Sinatra as the rude but goodwilled Spanish peasant, Sofia Loren as the voluptuos, passionate & red-lipped Spaniard (second time she played this role -- it suits her well) and Gary Cooper as the truobled English officer.

History-wise, the movie is terrible, but a lot of fun anyway

Yes, but an embarrasing fun if you ask me...

And it's great news hearing you're gonna make the "Guerra de la Independencia" (I prefer that name) scn... I'm looking forward to it!
