I am having a major problem with the Med Mod 4.0 pak for Civilization: Call to Power. I have e-mailed WesW three separate times over a period of two days, and no response.
I have followed his trouble shooting guide on the Troubleshooting readme file, and the game still crashes on the fourth turn, when I have my first non-Settler, military unit.
I have also installed the official Activision patch for the game, and the V1.21 Hack patch BEFORE installing WesW's Med Mod 4.0 pak.
And now, still seeking help to an unresolved problem, I have tried searching for the Med Mod 4.0 thread itself in the Apolyton Archive, to no avail. Seems like it was permnamently deleted.
I have thought about posting this in the Civilization: Call to Power "Help" section of this forum, but seeing that there is a very, very small number of participants in Civilization: Call to Power on the forum anymore, I felt my thread would not be read. So, I posted here.

I appreciate any help from anyone - maybe Wes will have time to answer my question on this forum.

LOL Fuzzball!!
Actually, Tom of Finland (can't remember his real name right now) was a very good artist in pencil and charcoal, and then later, color painting.
In many of his drawings, he exaggerated some features of the fictional men with thighs, pecs, and um - another part.
And others might disagree, but I think in many of them, he exaggerated the features, but not too such an extreme.
But there were other drawings/paintings of his where such features were done a bit too much out of proportion.
Oh yeah, here's a big surprise -- Tom of Finland was gay.

Thanks for the tip. I did figure out that most of the configuration data was in text files which is great since that is very unix-like. I will get in touch with them and find out more. Unfortunately, Loki doesn't have too much information about the mods. If the mod packs are just self-extracting exes (which I suspect), it would be great if apolyton also just put the zip files as well on their web site (linux can read zip files but not the exes).
Thanks,
Srikant
