I am getting strange errors with IE5.5 Put an end to popups!

When viewing the forums there is a ')' expected in line 141.
And when starting a new thread its line 163.

Download beta 6.0. It is basically the same with an added personal bar and security information that you never need to use. But the biggest thing is that it has fewer problems with forums, java, cgi, and other things than any previous browser I have used.

To turn off those errors:

Go to <b>Tools</b>, then select <b>Internet Options</b>, then click the <b>Advanced</b> tab, make sure the <em>Disable script debugging</em> checkbox is checked, and also ensure that <em>Display a notification for every script error</em> is UNchecked.

I'm sill using 5.0. Is there any point installing a newer version.

Its not like M$ have not already taken a large chunk of my HD.

There seems to be no point. I still have 4.x on my Windoze box, and most people I know who uses IE still use 5.01. There are all sorts of reasons not using the most recently released stuff from M$, the main one being security considerations. Just last week three security holes in three M$ programs have appeared.
