Polaris... We do not need more games right now. There are several games that are already on the dock (The Bretwalda game, another Royale game) that may be played somewhat soon or not depending on the circumstances (either in the middle of the summer or towards the end, depending on when people get back or get time). There is no shortage of people who want to DM games. Trust us, if there was a shortage of GM's and games that could be played, we would tell you.

Now we are not having a game overflow problem like we were awhile ago... but let's not forget that a good amount of that overflow problem was caused by a certain somebody starting something like 6 or 7 games.

Oh... Okay... I was just saying I wanted to try out an evaluation game of the "German Unification Diplomacy" in the near future, perhaps in 6 months (when I get the chance, or at least introduce it now and play it much later after receiving enough non-play evaluation to update it), but oh well...

RUFF, you missed Silent Dip V, which was played on a standard map with the shift variant. It was GMed by Boshko and won by, ahem, me.

Iain, thanks for the heads up. It's not really a problem. I just picked off one of the abandoned games that was rather, uh forgetable, and replaced it with SIlent Dip V.

Polaris, SnowFire is right, we have several new games going right now, and this would not be a good time to insert a new game, particulary a variant type. Maybe you could try it out at the Frontier or as an online game to test things out? just some ideas. But as some have already mentioned, there will be a certain amount of skepticism about joining any of your games until you actually complete one. And now you are stuck in the catch 22 of trying to prove yourself.

Fact is, there is no way I'll get a chance until about mid August to GM a game due to time, and even then I'm a bit busy. Polaris, I have no problem with you as a player. But you left a lot of bad memories from your stint starting games and they aren't going away anytime soon. That's where the hostility is coming from. It sounded clearly like you were starting up on that path again.
