	Many Problems Enter the AD-FREE zone

Since I bought this game over a year ago, I have experienced the following problems. I have tried every known method of troubleshooting to no avail, and my computer has 224MB RAM and is more than adequate:

The game freezes or crashes randomly and often.
Music does not play.
The game does not come with any scenerios or pre-made maps (duh!).
Loading or making scenerios or maps is EXTREMELY confusing, and so far I haven't been able to do it.
Auto save feature acts like it is saving, but really isn't.

I'm sure I'm missing some. If I had to rate this game as a whole, I'd give it * (due to the impossibility of completing a game without it crashing, discouraging you, and having you throw the CTP folder in the trash). Civ II would get ***. Nice to see how we are evolving. Will Civilization III just start your computer on fire?

Anyone else have these problems?

Are you talking of CTP or Civ II?
The games are quite different, CTP has a seperate forum...

My bad, this was meant to be in the Mac CTP area.

Yes, the games are MUCH different. Civ II is much better.... tho a little outdated.

Is a forum for this game necessary? It works perfectly from my experience.

Well..no we don't need a "troubleshooting" forum but this forum has been extremely useful at different times.Its not terribly active but I don't where else I could have found an applescript for a scenario..for example.
As far as MAC civ2 goes,this is it...pretty much.

What you report is more or less what I hear from everyone when it comes to CtP.Too bad as we don't get tons of games and when we do we like it to be good.

I am very concerned about the potential requirements for Civ3.I will not spend a bunch of money just to be able to run it.....
