You guys have lost this game. There is nothing you can do to reverse it. Civ 2 is a very mathmatical game at this point. Here is what is going to happen over the next 13 turns:
Technology
I will get electricity this turn.
Railroad in 3 turns
industrialization,conscription and fundamentalism in 7 turns
dank will do chivelry,leadership and tactis in next 8 turns after we steal some techs from you
brave will build darwins voyage and get chemistry and explosives, he already has 8 caravans
production
we all will produce destroyers with thier 6 moves and 2 space visability will prevent any invasions by your 3 moving caravels assuming someday you get navigation.
Ill turn my soon to be 20 galleons into 20 transports by leos
Ill turn my 20 settlers into engineers
Ill build 3 horesman in each of my 33 citys over next 7 turns
These 100 horseman will become 100 calvery as soon as dank does tactics
brave and dank will build barracks in every city
then they will get enough transpots in the water
and then spit out vet fanatics
which are civ killers ( no support, attack and defend at 6 with 2 hps and cost only 20 resources)
then 100 fanatics will be dropped off on bezerker shores with engineers to build forts and will swarm citys. The destroyers will prevent diplomats from getting to captured citys over seas. Over land massive fantic forts and pillaged roads will prevent overland diplomat actions.
I will land and take you out sloww with my 100 calvery landing from all directions again behind forts.
we will all be in fundy so happiness wont be a problem
The tech will be done in 8 turns
Ill sell off all my 40 temples, 20 libraries, 15 aquaducts and 3 colleseums to raise 4000 gold for brave and dank to force build fanatics. There force will be built by turn 10. In position by turn 12 and then the attack will be launched by turn 13.
we will take some 25 citys in the first 2 turns of the attack if it gets that far.
This is going to happen. Its easy to do. Nothing can prevent it.
You guys are so far behind technologically that you will never, ever catch up.
It is pointless to continue. Surrender, start a new game with your limited time and play another tribe and try to win that game to regain your position. Stop continuaully beating your head against the wall.
To prove that every thing I say is true. Do this, you have my permission to do this:
1) load the game in single player form
2) Choose my civ, youll see my map and my tech
3) not convinced, create a scenerio, then goto cheat and reveal map and set human player to whoever you like.
Examine the game, and you will know that even with this info you still dont have a prayer.
Sloww, you love to talk about charchter. About honor. Prove it.
In the last game with The Crusaders, They surrendered when the game got out of hand, I read the post. This game is out of hand.
We EXPECT you to do the same.
Dont waste anymore of your time, or ours. lets all get on with a tribe lifes.

Boann, never any where in my post did I insult you or brag about a victory. All I did was thurlly explain the helplessness of the situation and offer you away out that would save time which you obviously dont have a lot of or we would have played more sessions.
Dont talk down to me about not making the game fun. I was having fun and so were my team mates untill your BOY sloww started *****ing and moaning about the time our turns were taking and thats bull****. It ruined all the fun of the game.
If your going to do something, I say do it right, and if that took some time oh well . We did not start any of this bad vibes that now exist, it was Sloww and sloww alone.
Make no mistake, we did not win this game by intimidation, we won by solid planning, good team work and good cooridination. And make no mistake, its over and very, very lobsided.
In the OWL game, i asked for a surrender as well, we did not get one. Even after i told them that 100's of units would come crashing down on them and take city after city. But the next session I executed it just like I said I would and they quit 20 mins into the next session.
I know what I am talking about. The game is mathmatical. You, no matter how smart or good you might be, are only as good as your capabilities, and for what ever reason, you do not have the capabilities to win.
Never mistake confidence and fact for ego. When i want to Brag, you will know it. When i want to insult someone, you will KNOW it.

Also, I am educator at civ2. Read the above posts, show up with three team mates. We will play. Save every turn. Check out what we are doing. Check to see if it matches up with what i said. Who knows maybe even sloww will learn something from such a limited player as me.

First off sloww, I have never turned down a game with you when i had the time.
Second, I have proved myself in the civ world. I have been game league champion 8 times. I have won more games then anyone else in game league currently. I have won 2 tournaments. I have won 6 player huge multiplayer games with all the best players. My tribe record is 3 and 1. I won 4 of 5 games today alone.
I have the pedigree in civ2 play.
To continuaully say all i do is talk, just shows how ignorant you truely are.
To say i talk bad, is also stupid. Anybody reading the last three posts can see a formidable strategy set forth in clear concise and very detailed and length explanation.
Show up and you will see all the points above executed.

I concur with brave strat.. overconfidence is the undoing of all mankind or civ kind in this case. lol. Just unleash the mighty Crusaders Army that you all have built and take them out. Then IF they want to surrender they will.. And 1 more thing i feel i must apologize to the tuatha tribe for my earlier post it was suppose to be deleted, well at least i thought i did.. i was just frustrated is all. sessions were not taking place on times and dates. so accept my apology too all Tuatha tribe members. That is all Carry on!!

Stratergiking that is the bestest posting that I have ever read! You are the man babay and everybody hear can see it! Because they are all scared stiff of you and you are wright to show them that and to insult then and to tell them all how you are going to win and to demand surrendur because people like Bo Ann don't understand greatness! Its hard being nuber #1! Belive me I know! You and me are a dieing breed!
And your offer for them to load the game in cheat mode so that they can see exactly how bad you are beeting them is so humanitarien of you! Because the prrof is in the puding! Because people as cool and inphluential as you dont have the time to be sitting around here on the inter net all day waiting for a tribal game to end when you already know you are going to win! Like me!
And I think we had the same Englesh teacher didnt we!

You dont get it promethias. Its not who wins that counts. Sometimes I just like to talk about how an indepth game like this was decided. Much like a dettached sports anylist describes the highlights of a baseball game and discuss the strategy used to acomplish the victory and what the vanquished could do different so that next time, the game is better and even more competitive. To mistake this as an attempt for personal glory or ego boasting is utterly wrong. The surrender request was much like The U.S.A. gave japan Im WWII. If I have to "nuke" your citys to win, I will just want to make sure that you dont get bored when i am moving 100's of civ killing vet fanatics and 30-40 transports and another 15 destroyers every single turn. My turns will get up to 15 mins each soon so be prepared .

A-team is right - Tuatha will have a difficult time holding its own in this game from what I can gather.
The fact of the matter is that whether you like him or not, you have to admit that A-team is an A-class player, period.
He may not be the BEST player (sorry, Gary), but he surely is one of the elite. If I were Tuatha, I'd take his threats very seriously. His knowledge of the game is in-depth, and his battle tactics well refined.
Though I agree that A-team's Crusaders will win the game, I admire the Tuathans for not giving in so easily. If I were a Tuathan, I'd fight on too and maybe learn something in the process.
