Cavebear.....just wanted to let you know that your trophy for the "Nominated Players Tournament" arrived safe and sound in Newport Beach today. Its a F-4G Phantom 'Wild Weasel' mounted on top of a 10" "barbarian" red wooden platform. Kudos again for the maps , organization, and trophy for that challenging and loooooonnnggg lasting tournament.

Nap - So glad to hear that it arrived in one piece. In spite of the packing effort, I wasn't sure how well it would travel. My friends always tell me that I "over-engineer" everything, but I figure it is worth it. I guess the epoxy worked! (I wasn't too sure how well it would hold on a painted surface).

Come to think of it, I play the game that way too ("over-engineered". LOL!

Display your trophy with pride. There will never be another one like it. And you earned it...

Nappy is the best!

Cavebear organised it last year and it was an incredible achievement:
a) to get it completed
b) I think Nappy didn't lose a game?

Is that trophy permannetly nappys or is it perpetual, having to mail it omn to this years next winner (if nappy finally loses)

The trophy is permanently Nap's. If I were to organize a new tourney, there would be a new trophy with something different on top (and not as delayed in the delivery, LOL).

Well then, I hope you will participate in this one. One good thing about the way I organize it is that top players who seldom meet end up playing each other.
