I conquered the world by 1950. Browse Apolyton AD-FREE

Yep, I could hardly believe it myself

I was playing Warlord, huts, 1x1x.

I turned on the instant advice feature and always followed the advice of the computer advisors. It was so easy.

Lose 30 kilos (of popups)

Sounds a little like my first Civ2 game. But IIRC I got clobbered so I decided to read the manual. Who would have guessed that the Pyramids would NOT let you change governments?

I think the amazing thing is that following the advisors actually let you win at all, building all those city walls they advise

ROTFLMAO! AlexHorse, that was great. You have a sly sense of humor (in addition to your real flair for coming up with serious and interesting questions).

Yes Seeker, I wondered the same thing. I seemed to have many opportunities to win earlier but I thought, "the advisors know best". Once I had put walls and a courthouse into every city I stopped asking questions.
