I've seen references to BRONZE being one of the resources and BRONZE DEPOSITS being sited as a needed resource.
But IN REAL LIFE, there IS NO SUCH THING AS BRONZE DEPOSITS!
BRONZE is an ALLOY of COPPER and TIN.
So, I hope the underlying resources needed to produce BRONZE are COPPER and TIN, not "BRONZE DEPOSITS"!
Firaxis, what say you?

Money growing on trees?
Okay, enough on this, I personally don't mind bronze deposits, its simplifies the game resource system. Besides, when you have spice resources, what kinds of spice are they, there's a ton of varieties. Knit-picking each resource to base elements takes away part of the fun of the idea of civ by making it too much of a spreadsheet game. So what if the resource isn't totally realistic? Is it that important? Besides, if the resource system is being limited to 8 luxuries and 8 production resources, some shortcuts need to be made for simplicity. This is one I personally don't mind.

I really don't think bronze is a resource.
This appears to be rampant speculation on the previewer's part.
Now, if you'll excuse me I have to go clean these irritating "bronze deposits" off my shoes...
