Thats a good point that may need mentioning.Just about every strategy or idea you encounter here is done with deity level in mind.Eyes plays king level 2x2 which requires little or no strategy at all so its not surprising to see a kneejerk reaction from him

Eyes plays all settings and finds 1x1x incredibly easy since he is virtually undefeated in it. He also doesn't play deity because it whittles away all the variables in the game to the point where it feels like you are in slow motion. YOu call OCC a strategy? You call ICS a strategy? Lets face it, you could never hope to even comprehend half the stuff I know. What it basically comes down to is that you have alot of newbies and beginners writing pretty sounding papers and slapping the word strategy on it when in reality they're all pretty much useless and flawed.

Do you ever worry over breaking your arm, or dislocating a shoulder?
I mean, the strain you must undergo in slapping yourself on the back so much must be horrendous.

OCC is just another way to play against the AI which is fun and challenging.Much can be learned from it though and can be incorporated into "normal" play,whether solo or MP.Same deal with ICS.You know that EoN.Its good to be familiar with all play styles and plans.

Sorry for the "shot" but I just don't understand why you bother posting.I know SLs strats were not well received but thats because they were so complex and not usable by mere mortals.Why not join strategy discussions with ideas instead of the usual line.

I hope you're not planning on becoming a teacher of some kind in real life

Would it not be in your best interest to see players improve so they can occupy more than just 5 minutes of your game time?

Yes and yes.

I was refering to the demographics and opponents location,resources etc idea.A good one but awfully darned complicated.Anyway,it wasn't "well received" and I was thinkin maybe you thought "screw these people if they don't want to learn" type thing.

It wasn't screw them they don't want to learn, it was screw them they're too stupid too understand. And I was right, I knew it before I even posted it. I'm not even going to go into some of my more complicated strategies.

ahhh poor eyes, never lost to a human but the Hordesof barbarians forced him to resign in game against me .... Even me , the weakest link, can change my strategy to deal with barbs if and when they come, but he couldnt , he needs no interference in his plans ....
